If you are going to the Wednesday Pledge Test Review Social, then you don't have to print this off (we'll have them there for you). If you want to start studying now, kudos...here is the review!

PLEDGE TEST REVIEW:

All you ever wanted to know about APO… and more!

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

To be ACTIVE:
-Attend half of brother meetings
-Complete 25 hours of community service
from at least 2 different projects
-Pay $40 in dues
-Committee Credit: attend two-thirds of a
committee’s meetings or complete a job
assigned by an Exec Board member

To be ASSOCIATE:
-No service hours or committee credit required
-Pay $25 in dues
-No brother meetings
-CANNOT BE ON EXEC BOARD
-CAN ONLY GO ASSOCIATE ONCE

If you are on PROBATION:
-You did not complete requirements
-To get off probation, you must complete
requirements

If you are on SUSPENSION:
-You have been on probation for a full semester
-To be reinstated, you must petition Exec Board

If you are INACTIVE/“PHANTOM”:
-You have essentially dropped out of APO

2. Talk to the Service VP…that’s Wendy Chan!!!
3. Attend a Service Committee Meeting
4. Organize the inner workings of the project
5. Present your idea to the Brotherhood at meeting and get
feedback
6. ENJOY YOUR PROJECT!!!
7. Pass it on to a new project head

NATIONAL HISTORY OF ALPHA PHI OMEGA:

Once upon a time, Alpha Phi Omega was founded on December 16, 1925 at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania by Frank Reed Horton. There were 14 Charter Members and their goals were to do service, be nonsecretive, and grow in number. The organization was based on the Boy Scouts. H. Roe Bartle, aka “The Chief,” was the second president. In 1976, at the Atlanta National Conference, it was decided that all future chapters would be co-ed and all existing chapters be open to women!
